MSE Retaining Walls

MSE & Block Retaining walls experience hydrostatic pressure like all earth retaining structures. This pressure needs a drainage system that can relieve the pressure and thus can extend the wall’s life.

Maintainable Weep Hole Filters are installed through the block, low on the wall. Water building up on the backside of the wall will then drain through the weep hole. Maintainable Weep Hole Filters prevent soil loss while allowing water to pass through. All drainage systems begin to lose performance over time as their soil filtration component gets clogged.
